Tyler Art Gallery is featuring original student work in a variety of media for the fall 2008 Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition currently on display in Tyler Hall.
Participation in the exhibition fulfills graduation requirements for the bachelor of fine arts degree offered through the SUNY Oswego art department. “Students have the option of the studio art or graphic design program, and there are ample examples of excellent work in both categories,” said Laurene Buckley, director of Tyler Art Gallery.
Participating students include Ted Casper, Claire Ellsworth, Sara Gotlib, Yaaki Koesterich, Sarah Saraceno, Lindsey Scott, Melissa Schumacher, Brooke Starusnak, Garrett Stetson and Megan Williams.
The fall BFA exhibition runs concurrently with “Growing New Roots,” featuring the master’s thesis work of Edwin Acevedo and Matthew Rogers, through Dec. 20.
During exhibitions, SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. weekends. All gallery events are free and open to the public. Parking is free in campus lots on weekends.
For more information, contact the gallery at 312-2113 or visit www.oswego.edu/tylerartgallery.
