Oswego students present at major conference

Ten SUNY Oswego students attended the recent annual meeting of Geological Society of America’s Northeastern section in Buffalo.

Among them were geology majors Josh Valentino of Oswego and Regina Cuevas of Dolgeville, who gave a poster presentation of their bedrock fracture study using examples from the Lake Ontario shore and Hudson highlands.

SUNY Oswego’s Geology Field Program was represented in the conference’s exhibit hall.
