Program to address workplace conflict

SUNY Oswego, the Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and the Liverpool Public Library will sponsor advice on minimizing workplace conflict in the next installment of the “Brown Bag Lunch and Learn” professional development program.

John McCullough, executive director of New Justice Conflict Resolution Services, will present “Minimizing Conflict at Work” from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Carman Meeting Room of the Liverpool Public Library, 310 Tulip St. Admission is free for employees of local businesses and members of the Greater Liverpool Chamber.

Since 1981, McCullough has been a New York state certified mediation skills trainer, where his many activities include training youth and adults in interpersonal conflict resolution skills.

Participants are invited to bring their lunch. The Liverpool chamber will provide a beverage and dessert.

Registration is required by calling the Liverpool chamber at 457-3895 or e-mailing mary@liverpoolchamber.com. Seating is limited to the first 25 reservations.
