Campus community spreads holiday cheer

Junior childhood education major Kelly Bootier (left) and junior business administration major Natalie Smith were among the members of the Student-Athlete Mentors Program who decorated a tree in Laker Hall.

Trees and wreaths in Culkin Hall, Hewitt Union, Laker Hall, Mahar Hall, the Parking Office, Penfield Library and Rich Hall offer paper ornaments that contain a local child’s first name, gender and age. Participants are asked to select a present appropriate to that child and return the ornament attached to an unwrapped gift. The first pickup of gifts is Wednesday, Dec. 14, with a final pickup slated Dec. 20.
