Registration for SUNY Oswego’s Summer Sessions courses is now under way.
Undergraduate and graduate summer courses are open to new or returning students. The courses are offered at the Oswego main campus, online, at the Metro Center in Syracuse as well as in the Watertown and Phoenix areas. The first session will begin May 26.
Of the nearly 300 courses being offered this summer, SUNY Oswego is offering three-week courses, six-week courses and 12-week courses at a variety of times of the day, including some 75 evening courses and approximately 80 that are offered online.
“Students benefit in many ways by taking summer courses aside from the shortened term,” said Tom Ingram, director of academic programs for Summer Sessions. “Students in our summer courses represent a mix of our own students and students who are enrolled at other institutions who are home for the summer. It’s also a great time for students to accelerate their education.”
Visiting students use summer to take more affordable courses that will transfer to their institutions in the fall.
