Rice Creek Field Station, about 1.5 miles south of Lake Ontario and the main SUNY Oswego campus, encompasses nearly 300 acres, including forest, field, land in various states of succession, trails, a creek and 26-acre Rice Pond. Facilities include a weather station, labs, a classroom, a small library, collection storage, small boats and more.

Member donations and other contributions fund RCA, a group that supports the education and research missions of the field station.
