SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center has opened registration for training in early May for computer users moving or upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007.
The Phoenix Center, on County Route 59 near the Phoenix/Route 264 exit of I-481, plans to offer a three-class series in Excel 2007 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, May 5, 12 and 19. Cost is $99.
In addition, a class 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, will help new users circumvent the scavenger hunt for commands in Word 2007. It also will introduce users to time-saving tools. Cost is $39.
Registration deadline for the Excel and Word classes will be May 3.
Outlook’s many productivity and collaboration features—calendar, to-do bar and more—will be the subject of a class from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 12. Cost is $39. Registration deadline for Outlook training is May 10.
