SUNY Oswego’s May Commencement will have several rebroadcasts for those unable to attend the live ceremonies on Saturday, May 18, or just interested in seeing it again.
The live version streams from oswego.edu and on Channel 96 of Time Warner Cable around Oswego County and some adjacent communities.
Graduates of the School of Business and School of Education will participate in the morning ceremony, starting at 9 a.m. in the Campus Center arena. The afternoon Commencement, beginning at 1:30 p.m., will honor graduates of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the School of Communication, Media and the Arts.
The rebroadcasts on Channel 96 will show the ceremonies back to back in the same order. Re-airings will include the following dates and times:
* Saturday, May 18: 7 p.m.
* Sunday, May 19: noon
* Monday, May 20: 8 a.m., 8 p.m.
* Tuesday, May 21: noon, 10 p.m.
* Wednesday, May 22: 8 a.m.
* Thursday, May 23: 8 a.m., 9 p.m.
* Friday, May 24: 7 a.m., noon, 8 p.m.
* Saturday, May 25: 7 a.m., noon, 8 p.m.
Oswego Dean of Graduate Studies and Research David W. King will address the morning ceremony. Dr. Leslie Kohman, medical director of the new Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse, will be the featured speaker for the afternoon Commencement. Transcripts of King’s and Kohman’s remarks will be online following each ceremony.
More than 1,650 students, including over 1,400 undergraduates, are eligible to take part in the dual ceremonies.
