The American Management Association and the SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development have partnered to offer a series of non-credit certificate programs and courses at the institute in Phoenix. “The Training Course for Managers” is scheduled to begin March 24.
It will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on five consecutive Thursdays through April 21 at the Oswego State Education Center. The cost to attend is $279 and includes tuition, AMA books and all materials.
Participants will learn a four-phase training model that is foundational in developing basic training skills for managers.
The SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development is dedicated to partnering with business, government and nonprofit organizations to develop and deliver customized employee training based on current and future business needs. Its mission, “Your Success Is Our Business,” focuses on bottom-line results.
The institute is at the Oswego State Education Center, which is located just off Route 481, Exit 14, in the Oswego County Industrial Park, 70 County Route 59 in Phoenix.
