Webcast, area broadcast to showcase Oswego-Plattsburgh game

Justin Fox scores.Oswego vs. Plattsburgh. Whiteout II. A conference championship and NCAA berth up for grabs. Those unable to see Saturday night’s big game in person can catch a live Webcast and regional TV broadcast of the action.

All tickets are sold for Saturday’s 7 p.m. men’s ice hockey SUNYAC Championship game in the Campus Center arena matching the top-seeked Lakers (ranked #2 in the nation) vs. the archrival Cardinals (#4 nationally). But fans all over the world can watch it live, and participate in a Facebook discussion, by visiting http://www.oswego.edu/athletics/live.

The WTOP feed of the game will broadcast on Time Warner Cable as well—Channel 10 on campus, Channel 96 in the community and Channel 1500 throughout a North Country viewing area that includes Syracuse, Auburn, Binghamton and Utica. The broadcast will commence with the most recent episode of “Laker Lowdown” at 5:30 p.m., then an hour-long “Hockey Night in Oswego” pregame starting at 6 p.m.

In addition, WNYO (88.9 FM) will provide a live radio broadcast over the air and online at www.wnyo.org, and fans can find live stats online at www.sidearmstats.com/oswego/mhockey
