Hundreds of students are starting the new year with learning through WinterSession classes from Jan. 2 to 20.
The intensive classes remain popular with a variety of students, said Tom Ingram, coordinator of WinterSession programs for SUNY Oswego. One of the annual appeals of WinterSession courses is the ability to complete a three-credit class within a relatively short time frame, Ingram said. Special weekend sessions that feature daylong Saturday and Sunday portions also remain popular.
A combination of morning, evening and online classes totaling 20 WinterSession courses are offered. For more information, visit http://www.oswego.edu/wintersession.
