SUNY Oswego’s production of “Grease” evokes the original version of the rousing classic from 1971.
Danny Zuko (Jay Coley, top right) strives to maintain his reputation with his Burger Palace Boys—in later productions, the T-Birds—by giving the cool shoulder to his “summer love,” Sandy Dumbrowski. The boys, from left in front, in this still from Mom and Pop’s Diner, 23 E. Utica St. in Oswego, are Roger (Robert Beshures), Doody (Erik Shuler) and Kenickie (Nick Pike), with Sonny (Dylan Duffy) at left rear.
The production kicks off with a preview Thursday, March 31, and runs Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2; Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10; and Friday through Sunday, April 15 to 17—all in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre. For times and ticket information, visit http://tickets.oswego.edu.
