The SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse will hold a free graduate information session and open house from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 14.
The Metro Center, an extension center of SUNY Oswego located in The Atrium, 2 Clinton Square, offers graduate courses in business, counseling, education and the liberal arts and sciences. Melissa Barrett Bricker, the center’s on-site graduate academic adviser, will be present, along with Tammie Sullivan, director of MBA programs, and Amy McHugh of SUNY Oswego Extended Learning, who will meet with students interested in undergraduate degrees.
No appointments are necessary for the informal walk-in session.
Additionally, from 11 a.m. to noon that day, there will be a Graduate Record Examination preview. The free class will cover the basics of a test that is required for many graduate degree programs and accepted by more than 400 full-time MBA programs.
Highlights of the class will include the GRE’s new test format and content, new scoring scale and how the GRE fits into the application process. Instructor Dan Bacich has worked in the test preparation field for over three decades. Pre-registration is required for the GRE preview.
To register for the preview or to obtain more information about the information session and open house, contact the SUNY Oswego Metro Center at 399-4100 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
