“Chilton & Johnson,” which features digital illustrations by Kelly Chilton and abstract paintings by Melissa Johnson, recently opened at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse and will have an artist reception Oct. 15.
At the reception, from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 15, Johnson will do a demonstration on abstract painting and Chilton will debut an interactive multimedia piece based on work seen in the exhibit. The exhibition is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
The artists describe the exhibition as “an explosion of color in a mix of fantasy worlds and formal discussions.”
Hours for the exhibition are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.
