The SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development is offering a special half-price rate of $159.50 to students enrolling in American Management Association classes “Communication Skills for Managers,” “Fundamentals of Human Resource Management” and/or “Leadership Skills for Managers” by Oct. 2.
“It makes good business sense to allow professionals the opportunity to experience core classes offered in our AMA university certificate programs before purchasing the entire certificate program,” said Donna Besaw, assistant director of continuing education at the Oswego State Education Center in Phoenix. “In addition, it makes good business sense for employers to invest in their most valuable asset, their employees.”
Registrations must be received by Oct. 2 for one of the classes being offered at the special rate. “Communication Skills for Managers” is offered from 9 a.m. to noon on five consecutive Saturday mornings, Oct. 7 to Nov.4. “Fundamentals of Human Resource Management” will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on two Tuesdays, Oct. 24 and 31. “Leadership Skills for Managers” is an evening class from 6 to 9 p.m. on five consecutive Tuesdays, Nov. 21 to Dec. 19.
The SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development is dedicated to partnering with business, government and non-profit organizations to develop and deliver customized employee training based on current and future business needs. Its mission, “Your Success Is Our Business,” focuses on bottom-line results.
