SUNY Oswego’s RSVP has partnered with ARISE to recruit volunteers to join a ramp-building initiative for residents with disabilities.
The organizations currently are seeking retired engineers, experienced carpenters and laborers for these projects.
To volunteer, contact Ellen Wahl, director of SUNY Oswego’s RSVP office, at 312-2317 or email@example.com. RSVP, whose volunteers are ages 55 and up, is sponsored locally by the college and the United Way.
For more information abut the ramp-building program, contact Jim Karasek of ARISE at 342-4088. ARISE has many programs that support independent living and quality of life for people of all abilities and their families.
