Recorder Consort 'Going for Baroque' Nov. 11

Recorder ConsortThe SUNY Oswego Recorder Consort will perform “Going for Baroque” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Church of the Resurrection, corner of West Fifth and Cayuga streets in Oswego.

The concert is free and open to the public.

A broad selection of Baroque period compositions will include the work of such masters as Bach, Handel, Telemann, Pachelbel, Corelli and Purcell.

The members of the consort are (from left) John Brunson, soprano recorder; Marilynn Smiley, director and alto recorder; Jane Wright, tenor recorder; and Burton Phillips, bass recorder.
