The SUNY Oswego-based RSVP program will team with AARP to offer safe driving classes for seniors in August and September.
A pair of two-day classes for a total of eight hours are available: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 17 and 18 at the Oswego County Office Building on State Route 481, Fulton; or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 21 and 22 at the Christian Alliance Church, State Route 104, New Haven.
The fee for AARP members is $12, and $14 for others, due at the first session in a check made out to AARP. Drivers can receive up to a 10 percent discount on car insurance by completing an AARP Safe Driving Program class.
RSVP asks prospective participants to preregister by calling the instructor, Rachel Brooks, at 963-1069.
