Oswego’s costs trend low, its graduation rates high. That’s the snapshot of SUNY Oswego on the new College Scorecard that President Barack Obama released Feb. 13 to show “where you can get the most bang for your educational buck.”

SUNY Oswego will offer a new bachelor’s degree program in electrical and computer engineering starting next fall, coinciding with the opening of the college’s $118 million science and engineering complex.

The National Science Foundation recently awarded SUNY Oswego a five-year, $872,523 grant to boost the retention of freshmen and sophomores in STEM majors.

The Princeton Review and USA Today have named SUNY Oswego to their 2012 list of 150 “best value” colleges and universities in the nation.
