SUNY Oswego is launching the SUNY system’s first multiple-major co-op program, which can place students into full-time paying jobs in their areas of interest for up to six months.

Short-term options for study and travel have increased rapidly at SUNY Oswego in recent years, including a unique, first-time program that culminates in May with a trip to Iceland.

The National Science Foundation has awarded SUNY Oswego nearly $600,000 over five years to provide scholarships to recruit and retain talented students who otherwise could not afford to pursue degrees in science and technology fields.

U.S. News in August named SUNY Oswego among a select group of “Top Up-and-Coming Schools” in its “America’s Best Colleges” for 2010.
