Oswego familyMike Marcellino ‘47 and Julia Dahney Marcellino ‘47 were thrilled when their daughter, Ann-Carol Marcellino Claudet ‘71, decided to come to Oswego three decades ago. When their grandson, Kevin Claudet ‘08, likewise chose their alma mater, they were overjoyed.

Advisement award bestowed on Vampola

David VampolaDavid Vampola, director of SUNY Oswego’s information science program and a visiting assistant professor of computer science, has received the SUNY Oswego President’s Award for Excellence in Academic Advisement this year. He will be recognized at the college’s Symposium on Learning and Teaching on Sept. 28.

Canada awards grant to Oswego professors

Dr. Don Masterson, an associate professor of English at SUNY Oswego, has received a $3,000 faculty enrichment grant from the Canadian Embassy. Masterson co-authored the grant with Amy Shore of the college’s new cinema and screen studies program.
