Wildcards
For more complex searches you may use wildcards.
A wildcard is a special character which represents a span of one or more characters.
The percent sign (%) may be used to match any number of characters and the underscore (-) may be used to match any single character.
For example, if you want to find one of Bach's Cantatas, you might use the following search string:
bach%cantata
This would find Bach followed by any number of characters then the word cantata.
Those familiar with SQL (Structured Query Language) will recognize the above technique. In fact, most valid SQL statements will function. However, to minimize the possibility of a "SQL Injection Attack" certain key characters may not be used. These include single and double quotes and the semicolon.
