The following list provides details regarding the EBSCO databases that are now available to SUNY members: * Academic Search Premier By far the world�s most valuable and most numerous collection of active full text peer-reviewed journals, Academic Search Premier contains indexing for over 8,200 publications, with full text for nearly 4,700 of those titles. PDF back.les to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier contains unmatched full text coverage in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc. * Business Source Premier This is the industry�s most used business research database, providing the full text for more than 9,200 serials. Business Source Premier provides full text back to 1965 (or the . rst issue published for that journal) and searchable cited references back as far as 1998. Journal ranking studies reveal that Business Source Premier is the superior to the competition in full text coverage in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, . nance and economics. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company pro.les and SWOT analyses. * Regional Business News With daily updates, Regional Business News provides comprehensive full text for regional business publications (including titles from Crain Communications). This database has full text for more than 50 sources. * MasterFILE Premier MasterFILE Premier contains full text for more than 1,950 periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science, multicultural issues and much more. This database also contains full text for nearly 500 reference books, 84,011 biographies, 83,472 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 192,999 photos, maps & . ags. * CINAHL Plus with Full Text CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides indexing for 3,123 journals from the .elds of nursing and allied health, with coverage dating as far back as 1937. Offering complete coverage of English-language nursing journals and publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses� Association, CINAHL Plus with Full Text covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health (continued on reverse side...) and 17 allied health disciplines. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters, as well as Evidence-Based Care Sheets. Searchable cited references for more than 1,190 journals are also included. CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides full text for 391 journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. PDF back.les to 1937 are also included. CINAHL Plus with Full Text includes PreCINAHL as a companion database for subscribers. PreCINAHL provides current awareness of new journal articles, and includes a rotating .le of limited bibliographic information (no subject indexing) that is available to searchers only while these articles are being indexed. This enables users to gain access to article citations that otherwise would not be available. Once the bibliographic records are complete, they are added to the CINAHL database and removed from PreCINAHL. CINAHL Plus with Full Text also comes with CINAHL� Select, which contains cover-to-cover full text for 171 journals indexed selectively in CINAHL. All of these full-text articles will appear in result lists from CINAHL Plus with Full Text. Combined, these two databases offer cover-to-cover full text for 562 (unduplicated) journals indexed in CINAHL. * Education Research Complete Education Research Complete is the de.nitive online resource for education research. This massive .le offers the world�s largest and most complete collection of full text education journals. It is a bibliographic and full text database covering scholarly research and information relating to all areas of education. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. Education Research Complete also covers areas of curriculum instruction as well as administration, policy, funding, and related social issues. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,500 journals, as well as full for more than 750 journals. This database also includes full text for more than 100 books and monographs, and full text for numerous education-related conference papers. * ERIC ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. ERIC provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals. * Professional Development Collection Professional Development Collection provides a highly specialized collection of electronic information especially for professional educators, professional librarians and education researchers. This collection offers information on everything from children�s health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice. Professional Development Collection includes full text for more than 500 high quality education journals. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports. * MEDLINE MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals. Included are citations from Index Medicus, International Nursing Index, Index to Dental Literature, HISTLINE, SPACELINE, PREMEDLINE�, AIDSLINE�, BIOETHICSLINE�, and HealthSTAR�. * Military & Government Collection Designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government, this database offers a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals and other content pertinent to the increasing needs of these sites. The Military & Government Collection provides full text for nearly 400 publications. The database also includes full text for 245 pamphlets and offers indexing and abstracts for 500 titles. Additionally, many full text titles are available in native (searchable) PDF, or scanned-in-color.
