Credit Card Payments for Library Fines and Fees

 As a library patron, you can now pay your library obligations online via credit card.  To do so, you must go to the credit card portal and fill out the online form with your credit card information. This information is then added to the basket and you are directed to the payment page where the transaction is completed using your credit card.

  •  How do I find out what the balance is on my library fine?   The best way to determine the amount of money you owe the library is by calling the Check-Out & Reserves Desk at 315-312-2560 or by emailing at circdesk@oswego.edu.  This will help prevent you from making an underpayment or overpayment on your account.
  • How can I tell if my payment was received?  This can be accomplished by checking the receipt you receive by email, sent shortly after you make your online payment.  Please save a copy of this receipt to show you paid the fine, if requested to do so by the library staff.
  • How do I get my library hold removed?  A hold is automatically placed on your account when library fines and lost book fees accumulate over $10.  Fines and holds that have been paid will be lifted from your account within 24 hours (or the next business day) or take your payment receipt to the Check-Out & Reserves Desk for removal by a staff member (when available-call first late nights and weekends).
