1.2a Computer Account Help

If you are not sure whether you have established your SUNY Oswego computer account, you may want to do a test. First, check your user name by linking here to the campus e-mail directory:
Campus Directory

Enter your name and look for your listing.

• Your user name is the first part of your campus e-mail address, for example, jsmith4.
• Your password until you change it is your campus ID number without the first digit, "8".

To test your user name and password, try linking here: Infotrac OneFile

Enter your user information to access the InfoTrac OneFile database.

You got in? Great! If not, you have two options:

• Activate your account online. Use the following link.
  SUNY Oswego Online Account Activation
• Take your SUNY Oswego ID card and go to the computing center in the basement of Lanigan Hall. They will start up your account for you and in a few hours it should be available to you.
