Periodical Research Tutorial

This tutorial is designed to help you discover the "ins and outs" of searching for and locating journal articles in paper or electronic formats appropriate to your research needs. Some of the things you will learn are strategies for searching general and specialized periodical databases, manipulating the results, and locating paper or electronic "e-journals". You will also learn how to access the library's databases from remote locations, interlibrary loan materials, and how to evaluate the sources you have located. After completing this tutorial, we think you should feel better prepared to search for and locate the journals and articles best suited to your specific research needs.
