Penfield Library offers McNair Scholars extended privileges to support their rigorous research activities. All current McNair Scholars receive extended loan periods (155 days) for circulating books. Please contact Penfield at circdesk@oswego.edu or 1-315-312-3560 if you have questions about privileges for McNair Scholars.
McNair Scholars will receive the following support from Penfield Library:
- McNair Scholars will have a 155 day loan period for circulating materials. This does not include video materials, reserve materials, or browsing collection items.
- McNair Scholars may borrow up to 200 items.
- McNair Scholars will have their books subjected to recall after 28 days have lapsed. If after this period a book is recalled, McNair Scholars who do not return the item will lose their McNair Scholars Circulation privileges.
These services are reserved and intended for McNair Scholars only. Any student found abusing these privileges will lose their McNair Scholars privileges. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Coordinator of Access Services or Associate Director.
