- Sagarbandhan by Ajit Chitrakar
- (this is a summary of the song)
-
Hearing
the news from the bird, Rama feels
- miserable. He laments that his father has died far away.
Now his wife has been stolen.
- He shares his sorrow with Lakshman.
All
the monkeys start collecting stones. Nala
- and Nila, the two brothers, begin bridging the sea. They
are motivated to liberate Sita.
Sugriva
comes and asks, "why delay any more?"
Now
the Rama-Ravana fight will start.. All the
- monkeys offered Angada garlands made of fragrant flowers
of the forest. Angada flies to
- Lanka. He crashes through the room of Ravana where Ravana
is seated on a high throne.
Angada makes a coil of his tale and sits on it facing Ravana.
Ravana plays a trick and
- numerous forms of Ravana surround Angada. Ravana's son,
Indrajit, suggests his father
- should come to terms with Rama. Ravana refuses and keeps
glorifying himself.
Angada
slaps Ravana's face and takes his crown.
- He brings it to Rama and places it at his feet.
The
Rama Ravana fight starts. Here ends the pata
- sung by Ajit Chitrakar.
Chant
Hari Hari.
