The Oswego State Men's Club Hockey team improved its record to 6-2 by defeating SUNY Binghamton in recent action at the Campus Center Rink. Nick Leathauser scored the first goal of the game in the second period , assisted by Dustin Kennedy. Ryan Hawthorne scored the next two Oswego goals with assists being credited to Brandon Clark, Chase Collins and Greg Distin. Binghamton than scored twice to narrow the Oswego lead but Oswego's Dustin Kennedy scored unassisted as he was being hauled to the ice by the Binghamton defenseman. Kevin Kozlowski scored the final Oswego goal of the game on a pass from Ryan Hawthorne. Oswego goalie Greg Feiden had 35 saves.

The Lakers will be traveling to Penn State-Berks this coming weekend for two important league games. Oswego will also be hosting the NECHL tournament the weekend of February 22 – 24 at the Campus Center Rink.
