The Northeastern Collegiate Hockey League (NECHL) has just announced that Oswego State has won the bid to host the inaugural NECHL Championship in 2008. The tournament, which will take place February 22nd through the 24th, will be held at the Oswego State Campus Center Ice Arena.

The NECHL is comprised of 7 teams: Oswego State, Rutgers University, Cortland State, Binghamton University, Ithaca College, St. Bonaventure University, and Penn State Berks.
