Hart Global Living and Learning Center is a unique residential community on the campus of SUNY Oswego for serious students focusing on academic challenge and social responsibility within a global context.

ALL students are eligible to live in Hart GLLC. They must first apply by filling out an application and writing a short essay on why they want to live in Hart. Once accepted, they agree to take one course each semester from an approved list of global issues courses and agree to take the one-credit IST 190/390 each semester. The IST course requires attendance at six approved campus events per semester, writing a one-page paper or participating in a discussion for each event attended, and completion of 10 hours of approved community service per semester.
