Family and Friends Weekend has been a celebrated tradition at Oswego State for over two decades. For many students, this special event provides the first opportunity to visit with family and friends since the beginning of the semester. Within the first two months of the fall semester, students have settled into the campus community and are actively immersed in the college experience. This exciting mid-October weekend presents an important opportunity for families and friends to share firsthand in their student's Oswego State experience.

To demonstrate how students have engaged themselves in campus life, a wide variety of events showcase the scholarly, creative, and athletic talents of our students. Numerous opportunities also exist to interact with faculty and staff, and to take part in the diverse recreational activities the campus has to offer.

We know that our students look forward to showing off the campus and sharing their achievements with their loved ones. Please accept our invitation and join us for this year's Family and Friends Weekend. We look forward to your visit!

Family and Friends Weekend is October 17-19, 2008. Mark your calendars and book your hotel! Local accommodations fill up quickly (many before the summer is through).
