Summer Sessions 2013

SUNY Oswego's Summer Sessions provide the opportunity for current and visiting students to earn credit for coursework. We offer our courses online, in three primary convenient locations (at the main Oswego campus, the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse, and the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center at the Industrial Park in Phoenix), as well as assorted other locations.

2013 Summer Sessions Calendar
Session 1: May 28 - June 14 (three weeks)
Session 2: June 17 - July 3 (three weeks)
Session 3: July 8 - July 26 (three weeks)
Session 4: July 29 - August 16 (three weeks)
Session 1-2: May 28 - July 3 (six weeks)
Session 3-4: July 8 - August 16 (six weeks)
Session 1-4: May 28 - August 16 (twelve weeks)

Classes will not be held on Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day) or Thursday, July 4 (Independence Day Celebration).

Course Overloads
During the summer, students may register for a total of 14 credit hours. Registration for any combination of courses in excess of this maximum limit is considered a "course overload." Students who wish to register for a course overload must request permission to do so from the Associate Dean of their Academic Division. If the student does not request (and obtain) such permission, the student's summer course schedule will be adjusted accordingly so that it comes into compliance with these limits.

Payment Due Dates 
Payment for Summer Sessions 2013 courses is due according to the following schedule:

Courses starting between 5/28 and 6/14...............Not later than Friday, May 10
NOTE: Payment for courses starting between 5/28 and 6/14 that are registered for after May 10 must be submitted within 24 hours.

Courses starting between 6/17 and 7/3...............Not later than Friday, May 31
NOTE: Payment for courses starting between 6/17 and 7/3 that are registered for after May 10 must be submitted within 24 hours.

Courses starting between 7/8 and 7/26...............Not later Friday, June 21
NOTE: Payment for courses starting between 7/8 and 7/26 that are registered for after May 10 must be submitted within 24 hours.

Courses starting between 7/29 and 8/16...............Not later than Friday, July 12
NOTE: Payment for courses starting between 7/29 and 8/16 that are registered for after May 10 must be submitted within 24 hours.

If payment is not received by these dates, the individual's registration in the course will be cancelled.

You can make payment for your summer courses by proceeding to myoswego.oswego.edu, signing in, and clicking on "Accounts Summary."

Please note that all Summer Sessions bills will be sent electronically to registrants via SUNY Oswego's email system. 

Holds
Parking and/or any other holds will prevent you from registering for your Summer Sessions courses. Please check for any holds online at myoswego.oswego.edu before attempting to register.
