Summer Sessions 2014

Get Ahead or Stay on Schedule!

SUNY Oswego's Summer Sessions provide the opportunity for current and visiting students to get ahead or stay on schedule!  Earn up to 14 credits during our 12-week session!

Over 300 courses are being offered this summer and new flexible class sizes offer additional options to our students.  This is on a case-by-case basis depending on the course content and is at the discretion of the faculty member.

Courses that fufill Gen. Ed., major, and elective requirements are offered online and in-person at convenient locations including the main campus in Oswego, the SUNY Oswego Metro Center located in downtown Syracuse, and the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center located in the Industrial Park in Phoenix.

Never taken a course at SUNY Oswego before?  Not a problem - just create a myOswego account and you're on the way to making the most of your summer break.  Your myOswego account will allow you to register and pay for your classes and more; choose either Undergraduate New Student Non Degree or Graduate New Student Non Degree .

Important Dates

Course Overloads
During the summer, students may register for a total of 14 credit hours. Registration for any combination of courses in excess of this maximum limit is considered a "course overload." Students who wish to register for a course overload must request permission to do so from the Associate Dean of their Academic Division. If the student does not request (and obtain) such permission, the student's summer course schedule will be adjusted accordingly so that it comes into compliance with these limits.

Holds
Parking and/or any other holds will prevent you from registering for your Summer Sessions courses. Please check for any holds online at myoswego.oswego.edu before attempting to register.
