Program cost is $420 per person or register 2 employees on the same registration and get the 3rd employee free. Fee includes course materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and 1.5 Continuing Education Units. Register now.
Program Overview
This two day workshop is designed to enhance essential leadership skills for nurses. Presentations, along with interactive exercises will be used to support critical thinking and problem solving for some of the key challenges of being a leader in todays organizations. Nurses will continuously improve their leadership skills by developing individual learning plans allowing for self assessment and understanding of one's own individual ability to develop those skills.
Objectives/Activities:
♦ Identify leadership competencies needed to be an effective Nurse Leader
♦ Knowledge, skills and attitudes of high performing leaders in the health care profession will be discussed
♦ Applicability of high performing leaders information
♦ Self assessment of the Nurse Leader
♦ Participant skills sets will be evaluated pre and post training
♦ Methodology-provide students the process of identifying, tracking, analyzing necessary skill development goals
♦ Enhancing and developing competencies with a quality improvement process
♦ Individual Learning Plans will be developed
♦ Immediate integration of knowledge to workplace
