Dan Bacich
Dan Bacich

Dan Bacich has worked in the test preparation field for over three decades as a teacher, tutor and master trainer specializing in SAT, GRE and GMAT exams. Dan's methodology incorporates both test strategy and content review making his lectures both informative and insightful.

Mr. Bacich teaches both the GMAT Cram Course and the GRE Cram Course at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center.

Stephen Barr

Stephen Barr is the Program Manager for the North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and has been with the organization since 2010. He specializes in assisting businesses with understanding government contracting and marketing business to the government. Mr. Barr is an approved contracting counselor by the Defense Logistics Agency, and is a certified trainer for the Federal Contractor Certification. He counsels on a diverse array of topics under government contracting from determining if your organization is suitable for government contracting, registrations, finding and bidding on opportunities, marketing your organization, and the post award process. Mr. Barr obtained his B.S. from The College at Brockport. He is a certified NYS High School Soccer Coach, and an adjunct instructor at Jefferson Community College. He is a member of the Association of PTACs, and the Association of the United States Army. His community involvement includes volunteer work for the American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society. 

Paula BehmPaula Behm

Paula is the founder of Careers by Design and is a Certified Career and Job Transition Coach with over 10 years of experience. Ms. Behm guides professionals in identifying career accomplishments, transferable skills, and targeted career paths and assists individuals in the preparation of employment portfolios containing high-impact resumes, bios, references, and self-marketing plans in order to reach their own vision of personal and professional success.

Ms. Behm received a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management with a focus in Adult Training from SUNY Empire State College and a Master's degree in Professional Education from Le Moyne College. She is a certified Job and Career Transition Coach, interpreter/trainer for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), facilitator for the Harrison InnerView Profiling System, and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.

 Kerry Carney

Kerry Carney is one of the principals of Grenell Consulting (www.grenell.com), a strategy and leadership consulting organization that works with CEO's & Executive Directors in leading for the long term. Grenell uses its behavioral science background, unique assessment methodologies & coaching skills in helping organizations create and execute powerful and practical strategic plans while strengthening organizational leadership geared to bringing out the best in all employees.

Kerry has more than 25 years of global business experience with smaller, entrepreneurial business units of major corporations--GE, Xerox & Thomson Consumer Electronics. As a leadership team member, she played a key role in the development of strategic plans and implementing organization and people actions necessary to achieve those plans. Her worldwide business experience includes organization development, coaching, strategic planning, recruiting and staffing, training, talent management, performance management, compensation planning, communications and employee relations. Kerry is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a past board member of the Central New York chapter of SHRM; a member of the Central New York Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD); and, a member of the Human Resource Committee for Catholic Charities. 

Sue Conklin
Susan Conklin 

Susan Conklin uses her 20 years of experience managing people and projects to design and facilitate training programs that improve business performance; her goal is to inspire individuals and help organizations evolve.

With an MBA from Syracuse University, and corporate experience in global companies such as General Electric and Carrier Corporation, Susan has had the opportunity to hone her skills in marketing, management, and organizational development. She inherently understands today's business challenges and, as a strategic business partner, is a catalyst for innovative solutions that address those challenges. 

Diane Cooper-Currier
Diane Cooper-Currier 

Diane has worked in the human service field for over 25 years and has held a variety of direct care, supervisory and administrative positions leading to her current position as Executive Director for Oswego County Opportunities, Inc., a 660 plus employee, human service agency. In addition to her work in human services. Diane also has extensive experience in providing employee performance improvement strategies including training and consultation in leadership, planning and organizational development. She has conducted professional training on a variety of direct care, leadership and organizational development topics at a local, state and national level. She holds a BA from the University of Maryland and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and several certifications including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Denise DiRienzoDenise DiRienzo

Denise has worked in the events and non-profit world for the past 24 years, most recently as the Executive Director of the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse.  She led lunchbox talks at United Way; worked her way through the ranks at Oneida Indian Nation, planning cultural tourism and events; was a leading fundraiser in cause-related marketing as the CNY Executive Director at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; and raised over 22 million during her tenure and two capital projects at the Theatre. 

Ms. DiRienzo earned an M.S. degree from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.  As an adjunct professor at SUNY Oswego, Syracuse University and SUNY Morrisville, she taught classes in the Business of Show Business; Public Relations and Professionalism in the Hospitality and Gaming Industry; Managing Entertainment Venues; Tourism Planning and Development; Meetings and Convention Services; and Business Marketing, among others.

Virginia Jones 

Virginia Jones graduated nursing school in 1999, beginning her nursing career in the ICU and then moving on to emergency nursing to become nationally certified in emergency and critical care nursing. Virginia "Jinny" is currently employed as the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Emergency Department, Cardio, EP, Stres and Echo labs at St. Joseph Hospital. In this position she does research to assist in developing and implementing quality improvements for processes aimed at achieving optimal outcomes in patient care. A recent graduate of  LeMoyne College with an M.S. in Nursing Education, she developed and lectured on the intergenerational work force in nursing and what leaders need to recognize and take into consideration when dealing with each generational cohort. Jinny spent two weeks in Texas as a volunteer in the Medical Reserve Corp after Hurricaines Katrina and Rita and is Co-chair of St. Joseph's Chest Pain Center committee.

 Bill Motto
Bill Motto


Bill Motto is the Managing Partner of Motto LaGuardia Events, LLC and is a business owner, community leader, educator, coach, event and tournament director, and consultant with over 30 years of experience. Bill has served as President of the Syracuse Sports Corporation and the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame, and has been a member of the Executive Board of numerous organizations - including the Syracuse Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Home Builders Association of Central New York, and the American Lung Association.  In addition, Bill has held the positions of program director and professor of the Sports Management Program and head women's basketball coach at Cazenovia College, and has served as director of three professional golf tour events. He currently teaches and coaches at Onondaga Community College and runs several community-based sports events.

Mike Mullen has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York for 7 years. He is also an Academic Planning Counselor for the Educational Opportunity Program in the Office of Learning Services at SUNY Oswego and is the President and Director of Montario Point Professional Services. For over 12 years he has been a presenter, consultant and personal/professional coach. His areas of expertise are managing and coaching, team building, interpersonal communication, motivation, personal strategic planning and public speaking/presenting. 

Marie Pennucci 

 Marie Pennucci, M.A., is a SUNY faculty member with more than 20 years of experience teaching and training others in communication and conflict resolution. Her research and course development has focused on the influence of gender and culture on communication and conflict styles. Marie has conducted communication skills training in both the corporate and university setting. Her background also includes helping to orient adult women returning to school at a women's college and advising adult students at SUNY Empire State College where she is a faculty mentor and current faculty advisor for the Women Mentoring Women program.

Lee Riddell

As Director of the SUNY Leadership Institute, Lee Riddell focuses on campus based leadership development, sustainability development, strategic planning, succession planning and women leaders.

Lee was director of the Institute for Community College Development at Cornell University and managed the International Global Seminar on Sustainable Development. She has studied sustainability management in Central America with colleagues representing six continents, headed up Dr. Patch Adams' relief efforts for the Indira Gandhi Children's Hospital in Afghanistan, and went to Honduras as part of a medical relief team after Hurricane Mitch.

Robin Stephenson is a native of Northern New York and graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

She has been with the NYS Small Business Development Center in Watertown since 1989. She received her Advanced Business Advisor Certification in 2012. Robin's special areas include government contracting and veteran services. She has been coordinator of the "Selling to the Government" networking conference on the Jefferson Community campus for several years. This event matches small businesses with prime contractors, local, state and federal government agencies, and other potential purchasing agents for colleges, hospitals, etc.
