Columbus Day Open House
The Open House will include: Admissions presentations, a chance to talk with faculty, student-guided campus tours, select tours of academic facilities and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Career Services, International Education (study abroad) and Experience-Based Education (internships). This two-class series will provide you with tools, techniques and knowledge that will enable you to 'step-up' your game and achieve success in both your personal and professional performance.
Class 1 ǀ Cultivating Positive Attitudes and Emotions
Assess your thinking and learn new methods and techniques to improve your approach, attitude and emotions. Participants will be given interactive and indvidual activities to learn how to harness the power of a positive mental attitude using proven methods.
Class 2 ǀ Relationship Building Through Assertive Communication
Understand your role within a relationship and learn how to use assertive communicaton to strengthen both personal and business relationships. Participants will learn essential skills through interactive and individual activities.
Instructor Mike Mullen is the President and Director of Montario Point Professional Services. For over 12 years Mr. Mullen, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, has been a presenter, consultant and personal/professional coach. He is also an Academic Planning Counselor for the Educational Opportunity Program in the Office of Learning Services at SUNY Oswego.
