SUNY Oswego's Metro Center in Syracuse's Clinton Square consists of a 12,000 square foot, customized, state-of-the-art learning center that offers Graduate programs, Professional Development Workshops and Customized Training Programs and room rentals to other businesses and organizations.
Classrooms and meeting space include:
- 4 medium-sized classrooms that will seat about 24 each
- 1 large classroom that will seat about 60 with tables and chairs or about 80-90 if just chairs
- 1 seminar room that will seat 18
- 1 meeting room that will seat about 8 (can also double as a seminar room)
- 1 formal conference room
- 7 offices
- break-out space
Many of the rooms offer flexible classroom seating reconfigurations that can accommodate large and small groups.
The large commons area offers a space for receptions, displays and exhibitions. There are two Web-enabled computer stations. There also is a full service catering kitchen.
Our classrooms feature the latest teaching technologies and wireless Internet through the facility. Each classroom is equipped with computers and projectors. Video Conferencing also is available in the large classroom.
