I am not very creative with technology in the classroom, however, I do use more types of technologies in more integrated ways in my research. One little example is that my use of digital video allows us to use an infant’s picture in our letters to parents. Parents are delighted to see their baby’s picture in our letters to them.

I most often use technology to record and develop ideas and to communicate with colleagues, family and friends. I do not consider myself a technophile; I prefer some of the old fashion tools such as paper letters and a paper notebook for keeping my schedule.
If you had to pick one technology item that you couldn’t live without, what would it be?
I would have to say that I could live without the stuff that is called “technology” – but my favorite item of current technology is the personal computer and my favorite functions are word processing and email.
