Email Resources - Apple Mail: Importing Mail and Settings From Other Mail Clients Taking Steps for the Future

Open Apple Mail. Select File menu => Import Mailboxes. Choose the Macintosh mail client you want to import from, and click the >> button. Select checkboxes for whatever you wish to import (mail, settings etc), then click the >> button. Follow the instructions given by the import wizard (these will vary depending on which client is being imported from).
