"Taking Steps for the Future"

The Voicemail System
Call Pilot is the campus Voicemail System. If someone is trying to call a voicemail subscriber who doesn't answer after 4 rings, the caller is immediately transferred to the subscriber’s voice mailbox and the call is answered by an automated prompter who walks the caller through the proper steps of leaving a message. If someone is trying to call a voicemail subscriber who is already on the phone, they will be transferred to voicemail system to leave a message. You can call into your mailbox to check messages or to change your greeting from any touch-tone phone in the world. You can also create a message in your personal mailbox and send it to anyone on campus who has voicemail. Voicemail will record a message if your line is busy and another call comes in.

Students
Each residence hall occupied room is provided with one (1) voice mail box free of charge. This voice mail box is to be shared by the residence of that room. If an additional voicemail box is desired, a voicemail tree will be set up at an additional charge to the person making the request. Voice mail offers many more features than an answering machine can provide and does not require any additional equipment. Each resident can have their own additional voice mailbox for an additional fee.
