CTS currently only supports the following web browsers for use in conjunction with our campus network:

• Internet Explorer v6
• Internet Explorer v5.5
• Mozilla v1.7
• To save to your computer, right-click and hit "Save As" or "Save Target As"

Internet Explorer is Microsoft’s web browser, chances are if you are running Microsoft’s Windows operating system, you already have Internet Explorer installed.  Internet Explorer v6 supports all of the latest Internet Web protocols.  The vast majority of web pages on the Internet are designed to work properly with the Internet Explorer browser.  CTS recommends that you use the latest version of Internet Explorer.  To make sure you are running the latest version of Internet Explorer follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer and go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ (or click on Tools – Windows Update)
• Select "Scan for updates"
• Select "Install updates"
• The updates should start installing automatically. 

Mozilla is a popular 3rd party web browser, and a spin-off project of the Netscape web browser which is no longer developed by the authors.
