SUNY Oswego contracts with SkillSoft for access to their online training courses for business and technology. Through SkillPort, SkillSoft's online portal, members of the campus community have access to approximately 800 online training courses available to SUNY Oswego faculty, staff, and students for professional development and/or use in classes.  There are a range of information technology and business courses ranging from popular computer software such as Microsoft Office and Windows XP to human resources, marketing, communication, customer service, and project management courses.

Each course is completely self-contained and includes instruction as well as self-tests. By completing specified course materials, SkillPort users can earn eLearning Certificates indicating mastery of a given topic. Courses are available for Windows machines only.
