SUNY Oswego offers an e-mail account to all its faculty, staff, and students.  Faculty and staff may use this account while currently employed.  Students may use this account while taking courses plus one year after leaving the campus.

Access Your Email: 

Activate and Forward Your Email:

  • Email Account Activation 
    E-mail account activation is online and can be done at any of the public computer labs or on your personal computer.  Read the Computer Usage Policy, then click on “Agree”.  Fill in your date of birth and your Campus ID Number, then Submit. Account will be activated within 24 hours.
  • Forward your oswego email to another account
    To do this, go to the Account Tools page

ResNet Activation
You have must have your campus email account activated prior to applying for your ResNet connection. To activate your CTS email account if you haven't done so before, please follow the instructions above.  The ResNet Automated Registration System uses your CTS username/password for authentication.  Because of this you need to have your SUNY Oswego email account active before you can sign up for ResNet!  If your CTS account isn't active, you can't activate your ResNet connection.

SPAM & Junk Email
Spam is email that you did not request.  It is sent in “mass-mailings” to thousands of people, usually to promote products or services.  Spam is very difficult to stop or even to filter.  See our FAQ’s for some suggestions for handling spam.
