Banner One Time Setup Instructions for PC users

SETUP: You must complete these steps to run Banner
Download Oracle JInitiator and install it
- download JInitiator installer
- save the JInitiator installer program on your desktop
- doubleclick the JInit desktop icon to begin the installation. Complete the installation wizard.
- if you are using Netscape as your browser
- after the installation is complete, close ALL netscape windows, including email if you use netscape to read your email
Set desktop screen resolution to 1024x768:
- right mouse click on your desktop
- select properties from the menu that opens
- click on the Settings tab
- you will see a Screen Resolution area setting. Drag the slider to the left or right and notice that your size in pixels will change. Make sure your screen resolution is at a minimum of 1024x768. The standard size of 1024x768 should allow for ample room with banner display. Resolutions of 1152x864 or 1280x960 are also available for optimal screen resolution if you so desire.
- Click the OK button to save your changes.
