If you are having problems connecting to ResNet, please check the following:

1. If you have physically connected your machine to the network, opened up a web browser and can't get to the ResNet registration page, there could be a physical connection problem, especially if you are using a hub.  Check the "Connecting to the Hub" and "Troubleshooting the Hub" sections of the "Residential Network Connection Guide."
2. If you are able to get to the Cisco Clean Access registration system but it is giving you an error message, consult the "Common Issues with PC Computers" or the "Common Issues with Macintosh Computers" sections of the "Residential Network Connection Guide" depending on your platform.  A lot of the common error messages and how to resolve them are listed. 
3. If you are still having problems after consulting the "Residential Network Connection Guide," you can sign up for ResNet Room Service. At the beginning of each semester, professional staff from Campus Technology Services position themselves in various locations on campus to assist users in resolving their problems getting connected to ResNet.  The following are the dates and times for the Fall 2008 semester:
   1. For Oneida/Cayuga/Seneca/Onondaga Halls:
      Room Service Date/Time: Tuesday, August 26, 3pm - 9pm

   2. For Hart/Funnelle/Sheldon Halls:
      Room Service Date/Time: Wednesday, August 27, 3pm - 9pm

   3. For Scales/Waterbury/Riggs/Johnson/Mackin Halls:
      Room Service Date/Time: Wednesday, August 27, 3pm - 9pm
      Sign Up Location: Please visit the Scales Computer Lab
4. You may also call the Technology Support Center at x3456 to assist you in resolving your problem over the phone.  Please check their web page for hours of operation.
