CTS and Penfield Library have worked together to provide a Multimedia Production Room, which is located in room 210 across from the Periodicals/Media Desk in the Penfield Library. The key to this room can be signed out from this desk. If you would like to reserve this room (a very good idea), you may do so using the online reservation form.
Our current support team includes:
Dan Laird is the Media and Design Specialist for Campus Technology Services (CTS) at SUNY Oswego. He helps support the campus Multimedia Production Room by helping faculty and staff produce and publish various audio and video projects. Dan is in charge of maintaining and updating the look and feel of the CTS website, as well as creating new media and marketing materials to advertise all the services CTS offers to the campus. He is the administrator of the Panopto Lecture Capture service, and works closely with faculty to make sure they understand how the system works and integrates with our LMS, ANGEL. Faculty and staff who wish to make an appointment with Dan can fill out this form.
Emily Thompson is a Learning Technologies Librarian at SUNY Oswego, and has been spending her time seeking out new software and teaching students how to use it. Emily is a newly minted librarian who graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Information in 2011. In addition, Thompson is the co-host of The LiTTech Show, a weekly podcast on librarianship and technology for EdReach.us. Students who wish to make an appointment with Emily can fill out this form.
We are available to assist faculty, staff and students with creating varying multimedia projects. If you are ready to try out these powerful programs to turn out some amazing multimedia creations, check out some of the tutorials to get started.
If you have any questions, please email our mulitmedia group at email@example.com and we will do our best to address your concerns.
