Taking Steps for the Future

CTS has purchased a Microsoft Campus Agreement that allows the following applications to be installed on all SUNY Oswego owned computers at no charge to departments/offices:

  • Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus for PCs which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access.
  • Microsoft Office 2011 for Macs which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Windows 7 operating system*

The Campus Agreement also provides a Home Use Program (HUP) where faculty and staff can purchase one copy of Office 2010 OR Office 2011 for $9.95 plus tax for use on their personal machine.

*Application compatibility with Windows 7 is currently being researched for an eventual campus upgrade to Windows 7. There is currently not a timeframe of when this will take place.
