LakerApps Gmail - Spam and Phishing Protection

LakerApps Gmail offers superior spam filtering capability. If spam does happen to arrive in your Inbox, removing it is a simple process that also trains the spam filter to work better.

Removing spam from the Inbox
  • Check the message you wish to flag as Spam.
  • Click the Report Spam button.

Recovering messages accidentally flagged as spam
  • Click Spam along the left side of any LakerApps Gmail page.
  • Put a check next to the message(s) you accidentally marked as spam.
  • Click the Not Spam button.not spam

Permanently deleting spam

  • Click Spam along the left side of any LakerApps Gmail page.
  • Check the messages you'd like to delete and click Delete Forever, or delete all spam by clicking on Delete all spam messages now.

Reporting phishing scams
  • Open the message you'd like to report.
  • Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top-right of the message pane.
  • Select Report Phishing.

Due to this new functionality, it is no longer neccessary to report phishing or spam to the Technology Support Center (unless a technician directs you to do so).
