NOTE: Google designed its products to be accessed via a web browser, as opposed to an email client (such as Thunderbird or Outlook). In order to fully take advantage of features offered by LakerApps, CTS highly recommends using Firefox or Internet Explorer to access these services. For those who still prefer to use an email client, instructions are provided below.
Email Clients and mobile devices
LakerApps Gmail can be configured to work with your existing email client. Instructions are available for the following clients at this time:
If your client is not listed here (or if you're using a mobile device), please consult Google's list of supported IMAP email clients. Google provides a list of the essential settings that should work with any mail client.
Importing address books into LakerApps
Google has step-by-step documentation on how to export your client's address book into CSV format, which can then be imported into your new Contacts.
