Tyrone has responsibility for the campus telecommunications resources and service including management, installation, maintenance, and quality of switching system and associated voice and data circuits, telecommunications devices and supplemental equipment. This equipment includes the telecommunications switch, as well as, remote sites, fiber optic backbone, cable plant, communications infrastructure and hardware. He supervises the campus switchboard and the telecommunications staff. Tyrone also provides leadership in the design and construction of telecommunications infrastructure for the campus renovations.
