Duties:
As Network Technician, Matthew Perez assists in the administration, maintenance and day-to-day operations of the SUNY Oswego Network.  This includes network monitoring, configuring network switches/routers, installation and maintenance of data communication cables, and maintaining external data connections for commodity Internet and private SUNYNet network connections.  Matthew also assists with the administration of Windows and Solaris servers performing mission critical services such as DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.  Matthew also manages Digital Millennium Copyright Act notifications.  Matthew has a special focus on residential data infrastructure.

Bio:
Matt joined the staff of Campus Technology Services in March 2006. He graduated from SUNY Oswego in May of 2006 with an Information Science B.A. degree. Matt also serves on the Imaging Committee and is an Assistant Coach for the SUNY Oswego Women's Hockey team.
